Fun Raiser 01

Welcome to N9MBI.  Part of the Echolink Amateur Radio Network.

Hi!  My name is Dave and my call sign is N9MBI.  I own and operate an Echolink simplex repeater in Kenosha, Wisconsin on 146.445.  The node number for my simplex repeater is 372155.  I try to have activities going on every day of the week.  Check out the nets and other activities link at the left hand side of the screen for a current schedule of nets and other activities.

If you would like information on how to set up an Echolink station you can click on the Echolink button on the left hand side of the screen to access details on Echolink setup.  Please note, you must be a valid licensed amateur radio operator to use Echolink.

I added some new pages in the Echolink section that every Echolink simplex node operator should be aware of.

Also,  in the favorites section you will find a link to all the FCC regulations that pertain to amateur radio operators. It’s well worth taking a look at.

You can click on the Hobbies button for information on my other hobby interest.  The Favorites button will bring up a page of links to my favorite sites. And, of course, the Photo Gallery button will take to to my Photo Gallery page with a wide range of ham radio related photos as well as a lot of other photos I’ve taken.

Enjoy your visit and come back often as this site is updated often.
